Why Conscia and Elasticsearch Together?

Elasticsearch is a powerful search platform, however, it does not provide business user control over the end user search experience.  Optimizing search relevance is a continuous undertaking and requires numerous iterations.  Conscia removes the reliance on IT to manage the day to day control that business needs on the search relevance.

Trigger On Any Context

Tailor your search results for a specific customer segment, geolocation, device, category page, campaign or anything relevant to your business.

Manage Search Strategies to Meet Your Every Need

Boost and Bury

FIne-grained control over which results are pinned to the top or pushed down to the bottom of the results list.

Facets

Define and map facets to product or content metadata and expose them as navigation on any page or screen.

Synonyms

Define a list of synonyms to expand the search query in order match additional content.

Query Suggestions

Define a set of query suggestions for specific keywords. This is useful when user's search term is not found in the index, but a close alternative is.

Keyword Redirects

Define dynamic rules that specify either a single keyword or set of keywords and associate a target webpage the customer will be redirected to when the keyword or keywords are triggered.

Facet Precedence

Sometimes it makes sense to sequence facets based on user's selection. For example, you may only want to show 'size' as a refinement option, if category selected was clothing.

Query Replacement

There are times when the intent of the user's query is well known, but the index doesn't contain the results to that query. In that case, Conscia gives you the option to replace the query entirely with a pre-defined keyword.

Search Interface

One search index maybe used for different purposes in different contexts. Conscia allows you to define the list of searchable fields to create a different view for each purpose. For instance, part number search should be limited to the part numbers field.

Optimize Your Data For Optimal Search Relevance

Garbage In, Garbage Out.  Regardless of how you configure your search engine, if your data is not in good shape, search results will be less than optimal.  Conscia’s DX Graph empowers business teams to have editorial control over their search index.  From taxonomies to NLP to data cleansing, the DX Graph allows you to optimize your data for the most relevant search results.
